West Texas Writers Meeting Information
Normally, the West Texas Writers meet nine times a year from September through May of the following year. Unless holidays conflict, the meetings take place on the first Saturday of each month, beginning at 2:00 p.m., and lasting until 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Members and guests are encouraged to arrive early so they can meet and talk with attendees.
A short business session usually starts each meeting, lasting for 20 – 25 minutes. That particular month’s speaker(s) is then introduced, and then he/she/they may use the next 50 – 55 minutes to present their topic, including questions and answers. Following the presentation, members and guests get together informally to share stories, tips and other items of mutual interest.
West Texas Writers meet at the Midland County Library. 301 W. Missouri in Midland, Texas, second floor meeting room (next to the periodical section).
If you have any questions about the next meeting location, time or topic to be presented, please call Debbie Pelham at (432) 634-0139 or James Woods (432) 362-4297.
Thank you for visiting this web page. We hope to see you at a future WTW Meeting.
